Call for Sponsorship

The 1st Symposium on Consistency Checking Principles (SCCP 2026) will be held in Boston on September 04, 2026, in conjunction with VLDB 2026.

SCCP is a new venue dedicated to the formal verification, runtime checking, and principled analysis of consistency models in databases, distributed systems, and concurrent programs. As the inaugural edition of the workshop, SCCP 2026 brings together researchers and practitioners from distributed systems, programming languages, formal methods, and databases to systematize existing work, unify terminology, and identify directions for future research.

We invite companies, research laboratories, and institutions to support SCCP

1. Sponsorship makes the workshop accessible to students and early-career researchers, and connects sponsors directly with a focused community working on problems that matter in production systems: transaction isolation, replication, memory models, and the tools that check them.

Sponsorship Benefits

Included Benefits

1. Homepage logo placement. Prominent, tier-based logo placement on the workshop homepage, which serves as the primary entry point for prospective authors, program committee members, speakers, and attendees.

2. Logo placement on the CFP and promotional materials. Logo inclusion on the Call for Papers webpage, PDF, and poster. Because these materials circulate through mailing lists, research groups, institutional channels, and social media, they provide visibility beyond the workshop’s registered attendees.

3. Recognition on opening and closing slides. Sponsor logos will appear during the workshop’s opening and closing sessions, when the full audience is assembled.

4. Logo placement on the printed program. Sponsor logos may appear on the workshop program distributed to attendees and used as a reference throughout the event.

5. Named student travel awards. Sponsor-funded travel support may be presented as the “⟨Company⟩ Student Travel Award,” with recipients recognized on the workshop website. This opportunity directly supports student participation and engagement.

6. Recruiting profile and employment links. The sponsor profile may include a recruiting description and links to relevant open positions, providing direct access to candidates with expertise in consistency, verification, databases, and systems.

7. Recruiting materials at the sponsor table. Sponsors may provide printed descriptions of open roles, internships, research opportunities, and technical teams for display at the designated sponsor table.

8. Opt-in attendee contact information. Where permitted, sponsors may receive contact information from attendees who explicitly consent to sponsor communications. All collection and sharing will follow applicable privacy requirements and conference policies.

9. Introductions to student presenters. Organizers may facilitate introductions between sponsor representatives and consenting student presenters whose work aligns with the sponsor’s technical or recruiting interests.

Optional Benefits (Upon Request)

1. Dedicated sponsor profile. A permanent sponsor profile featuring the organization’s logo, a 50–100-word description, and a link to its website. This profile allows the sponsor to communicate its mission, research interests, and relevant activities directly to the workshop community.

2. Named Best Paper Award. A sponsor may support a named award, such as the “⟨Company⟩ Best Paper Award at SCCP 2026.” The award will be announced at the workshop and recorded on the workshop website.

3. Sponsor information table. Sponsors may provide brochures, technical materials, recruiting information, and approved promotional items for display at a designated table.

4. Sponsored coffee break or lunch. A sponsor may receive dedicated recognition for supporting a coffee break or meal, subject to coordination with VLDB and the conference catering provider.

5. Sponsor lightning talk. A five-minute program slot for the sponsor to introduce its organization, relevant technical work, and engagement with the workshop’s research area.

6. Panel participation. A sponsor representative may participate in a panel with academic and industry researchers on topics such as consistency checking in production systems.

7. Opportunity to propose an open-problems topic. Sponsors may suggest technical challenges for consideration in the workshop’s open-problems discussion. Final topic selection and framing will remain under organizer control.
